CLARITY, WITH THE EVIDENCE ATTACHED
Possibility deserves a closer look.
Markets Pal helps Sri Lankan businesses find promising places to take their products and expertise. We make the research easier to explore, and its limits easier to see.
From a signal to a useful brief.
Periodic research jobs look for product and service opportunities using public search, export-promotion research, official publications, and industry sources. We retrieve the underlying pages, preserve source references, and use AI to help connect market evidence with Sri Lankan capabilities.
A brief must describe a specific offer with real value addition: processing, formulation, packaging, design, manufacturing expertise, or specialized services. A broad trend on its own is not enough.
What makes it onto the timeline?
- Evidence from independent origins. Each brief needs at least two source publishers, including an authoritative or primary source. We check supporting excerpts against retrieved documents.
- A connection to the destination. The evidence must identify the market, as well as relevant Sri Lankan capabilities. European evidence does not automatically prove demand in every European country.
- A consistent research structure. Every brief passes the same data and citation checks. Unsupported output is held back; failed jobs preserve the last good published version.
- Unknowns stay visible. Buyer interest, achievable margins, exact tariffs, classification, and readiness may still need validation. Suggested next steps help you investigate those questions.
Evidence strength is not a sales forecast.
Supported means the brief has independent source support and at least one dated source from the previous year. Contextual means it draws on older or undated background evidence. Neither label measures your chance of making a sale.
“Strongest evidence” sorts by a documented research-readiness score: destination evidence, Sri Lankan capability evidence, independent origins, primary sources, recency, a defined value-added offer, and supported entry requirements. It does not estimate demand, profitability, or commercial success.
Most opportunities begin as structural research leads. A report being retrieved today does not make its underlying data new. Source dates and caveats appear in every brief.
Freshness you can inspect.
We distinguish publication time, substantive updates, and evidence checks. Checking an unchanged source does not send an old brief to the top of the timeline. Briefs become due for review when their evidence has not been checked within the review window. Withdrawn briefs remain labeled and are removed from discovery.
Public pages read already prepared research. They remain available during provider outages and do not trigger AI spending when you browse.
Broad curiosity. Honest coverage.
We rotate research across countries and sectors, and reserve work for less-explored markets. The priority catalog is a research plan, not a claim that all destinations have been analyzed or contain a verified opportunity.

Your judgment is the essential next step.
AI can misinterpret information, and public sources can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. Open the cited sources, compare the requirements with your own product, and validate interest with prospective buyers before committing resources. We do not verify buyers, arrange transactions, or promise export outcomes.
